While on the job, workers need to be visible. When workers aren’t visible, serious accidents are more likely to occur. OSHA requires certain workers to wear certain types of vests. These vests must be approved by ANSI. Different vests are rated for specific situations.
For example, our ANSI class II safety vests are rated for areas that have traffic traveling between 25 and 55 miles per hour. An ANSI class II safety vest must also have a total of 201 square inches of reflective tape or more. Our ANSI class II vests are ideal for toll-gate personnel, forestry workers, ground crews and airport baggage handlers.
They’re even worn by members of law enforcement. We carry several bright safety vests that have a double stripe design. They’re particularly useful for traffic and construction workers. Our two top colors are orange and lime.
