While other vests are Flame Retardant with extra coatings to help flame ratings, the ARC FR vests are actually made with a Flame Resistant material.

Also called FR Modacrylic vests, our Arc flame resistant safety vests are made to follow the strictest guidelines from the NFPA. They’re made with materials that are able to resistant flames. We stock arc flame resistant vests in different colors and classes.
We carry class II and III vests, so you can choose your vest based on the application that you’ll be using it for. Many of the vests on this page are rated for Level 2 arch flash, so they’re ideal for utility workers and electricians. However, they can protect anyone who must work in close proximity to exposed electrical equipment or open flames. Our selection of flame resistant safety vests is made with materials that are designed to not conduct heat.
