The MSA V-Gard^® cap style hard hats on this page are different because they come with a STAZ-ON™ suspension. This type of suspension can take longer to adjust than ratchet and one-touch alternatives, so it’s not the best choice for workers who’re constantly moving.

However, it’s still an excellent suspension and provides workers with a semi-custom fit. These MSA V-Gard^® hard hats are bright enough to be seen in daylight conditions and work great for a variety of work environments.

They’re especially useful for industrial applications, and the shell is made of high-density polyethylene. These hard hats have universal expansion slots built into them, so they can hold all of your important accessories. The STAZ-ON™ suspension is great for individuals who want an inexpensive option.

The only downside of the STAZ-ON™ pin-lock suspension is that it requires the hard hat to be removed to make adjustments, and depending on the job, it’s not always possible to remove your hat while working.
