The MSA V-Gard^® full brim hard hats on this page are almost identical to some of our other products, but the major difference is the type of suspension that they come equipped with. The products on this page have a STAZ-ON™ suspension.

If the thought of having to take off your hard hat to adjust the STAZ-ON™ suspension doesn’t make you feel very good, then you might want to consider our V-Gard^® hard hats with ratchet or FAS-TRAC™ suspensions.

Like our other V-Gard^® products, these hard hats have a full brim and will protect your face from falling objects, rain and UV rays. The STAZ-ON™ suspension can be more difficult to use than some of the other options, but from an economical point of view, it’s an excellent choice.

The hard hats on this page provide decent protection from side impacts, and they’re great for tackling more industrial applications. They’re designed to fit most head sizes and have shells made of polyethylene plastic.
