The Nomex IIIA™ coveralls on this page weigh only 4.5 ounces. They're available in all sizes and designed for superior flame resistance. The Nomex IIIA™ is made of a blend of anti-static and flame-resistant fibers.
The fibers have a molecular structure consisting of 2 percent static dissipative fiber, 5 percent Kevlar™ and 93 percent Nomex™. Since these coveralls are very lightweight and weigh only 4.5 ounces per square yard, they're incredibly comfortable and can be worn for several hours at a time.
The Nomex IIIA™ won't break open, drip, melt or burn in air. In fact, it serves as a strong barrier against electric arcs, flash fires and intense heat. The Nomex IIIA™ will dissipate electrical charges from the fabric and provide additional protection against annoying static.
The Nomex IIIA™ fibers also offer great resistance against chemical bases, acids and organics but won't protect workers from molten chemicals. These coveralls have seven double-stitched pockets and feature an elastic waistband. They have a one-piece back and lock-down safety stitching throughout the suit. |
